The movie “Jurassic World Rebirth,” which was released on July 2nd, 2025, is a disgrace to the Jurassic World movie series. I say this because when I watched it recently, I thought that there were some major flaws in the movie, such as the ending. I thought that it was not at all created with the intent of exploring dinosaurs, even though the whole movie revolves around dinosaurs.
Another complaint I have with the movie is that Chris Pratt was not in it, along with Blue the Raptor. Like, those are some key characters in the movie series. Along with the fact that the ending was horrible, I would have liked to see more of an ending with dinosaurs in it, not just people on a boat heading home with some dinosaur DNA samples. Also, I would like to mention the fact that usually in the Jurassic World movies I am on the edge of my seat scared, but I was not on the edge of my seat once throughout the whole movie.
Some more flaws with the movie are that it was very predictable. It was very easy to guess what was coming next because of the way some scenes were set up, and also, you could tell when people were going to be eaten by dinosaurs. Another thing I would like to add is that the graphics were not as good as they have been in the past. The dinosaurs looked less realistic. I also thought that there were way fewer dinosaurs being featured during the movie, too. It may be because of the new mutant dinosaur, Distortus Rex, but I personally think that they should have included some more of the other dinosaurs that have been in previous movies.
Finally, the last few issues I have with the movie are that there are none of the classic characters from the previous movies in it. Also, some of the dinosaurs that were in previous movies were not featured. Additionally, another complaint I have about the movie is that the actors in the movie were not that good at acting. Lastly, why was there a random family in the movie just hanging out with the dinosaur experts? Like what was the point of the scientists bringing a family with them or even putting them in the movie? The family was just a way for more problems to arise.
In conclusion, I do not think that this movie represented the Jurassic World movie series well. I would rate the movie a 3 out of 5 stars because of all of the flaws that are within the movie itself. But mostly because I did not feel that its main focus was on dinosaurs and was instead on the family that they picked up from getting eaten by dinosaurs. The ending was horrible because they ended on a boat in the middle of the ocean. It’s probably because of them wanting a spot to start off for the next movie, but it was still disappointing. Will they even start at that moment, and what will follow? I guess we won’t know until the next Jurassic World movie, and hopefully, it is better than this installment.
