To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is a teenage romance movie series on Netflix. There are three movies that have been released: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (2018), To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You (2020), and To All the Boys: Always and Forever (2021).

In the first installment of the trilogy, the main character Lara Jean Covey is a sixteen-year-old in high school who romanticizes life. Lara Jean cherishes her relationship with her older sister Margot and her younger sister Kitty. Despite her close relationship with Margot, she inadvertently falls for her sister’s boyfriend. Lara Jean even wrote a love letter to him, but she put it in a box sealed away since her sister was dating him. However, the couple breaks up when Margot decides to go away to college. If you think that he was the only one she writes a love letter to, you are highly mistaken; however, she never wants these boys to read them. She writes them when she has a crush, and this is how she expresses her feelings. Lara Jean kept these letters hidden until her youngest sister, Kitty, found the letters and mailed them to all 5 guys. Now that the love letters have been delivered, Lara Jean finds herself upset and scared for Margot’s ex-boyfriend to read his letter. So, Peter Kavinsky (one of the guys who received a love letter) decides to make a pact with Lara Jean to act like a couple to make sure Josh thinks nothing of the letter, and Peter can make his ex-girlfriend jealous. The couple succeeded at their pact for a long time until they caught feelings for each other on the ski trip. The couple comes back from the ski trip happy until Peter’s ex-girlfriend intervenes and exposes Lara Jean to the entire school. Although Peter’s ex, Gen, thought she had broken up the couple, she had failed because Lara Jean finds herself writing another love letter to give to Peter on his rugby field, and this is how the movie ends. You can assume that the couple stays together after finding their way back to each other. Dylan Grewell comments on the romance series by saying, “I would recommend this series for couples to watch, and I really enjoyed it.”
