Dover High School performs “The Sound of Music”

Dover High School Thespians performed “The Sound of Music” for their spring musical on March 16, 17, and 18th. This show was very successful, and our Dover community enjoyed it very much! This musical took many efforts from the people involved: director, crew, pit, cast, and more. There are so many attributes that occur behind the scenes to create a successful show. Many late nights are involved to make the show as good as it is. Dover is known to have some of the best shows around, and this would not be possible without the amount of dedication and determination of every individual involved.

This show has a big cast including many main roles. For instance, senior, Belle Fockler, was cast in the main role of Maria Rainer. She starred in this role greatly because of the amount of time she spent to improve her role, the countless hours she spent at rehearsal, the voice lessons she took to improve her singing, and the love and passion she has for theatre. Belle is hoping to make it big in the theatre community, which is why she plans to go to college and participate in the theatre program. The other main roles include:
