Do you feel overwhelmed by the amount of commitment it takes to be involved in your sport?
Golf
Senior- Jacob Hanner
“Absolutely, we miss more than 6 days out of the school year playing golf. I spend multiple nights staying up till 1 or 2 AM studying and doing makeup homework. Additionally, our season starts before practices even start. You have to be at the top of your game entering the season which is a huge time commitment over the summer. Overall, it is so rewarding. We have always been one of the best teams in our county for a reason. We sacrifice free time to succeed and when everyone is on board with that (Like this year) we are very successful.”

Tennis

“No, I feel like it is an easy and fun way to be involved in a sport and it’s not stressful at all!”

Senior- Lauren Grafe
“No, I love soccer, and it is a stress reliever if anything. Also, I am very good with time management, so I never feel overwhelmed!”

During the summer, I did not; however, with school starting back up, I do.”
