Adios Fall
December 17, 2019
The autumn trees have come to pass.
The wind starts to swirl so fast.
Does one now see the sincere and inviting colors of the leaves on the trees?
I didn’t. I took the beauty for granted.
The season came and went like an attractive stranger one passes on the street.
Now, I am here. Half a year gone before I leave the place I know.
The place I’ve been for every fall since I was very small.
Moreover, this time next year, fall will take place in a different yard. A new home with different trees and contrasting leaves.
The autumn trees and even Christmas Eve will not be the same.
The one thing that is certain; I will miss the warm color leaves dancing in the frigid breeze.
