Artist Feature: Gabby Ewing
Gabby Ewing is a senior here at Dover. She began drawing at a young age and has since progressed into a skilled artist. She has taken virtually every art class at DHS and is currently in Advanced Studio Arts and Sculpting, the latter of which she claims is a good challenge for an artist looking to extend her expertise such as herself. Gabby thinks that the art classes at Dover allow her to get out of her comfort zone by trying new mediums, but I think she seems very comfortable in any realm of art. Her art is playful yet sophisticated, compelling, and undeniably talent-saturated. Gabby, inspired by “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?,” describes her art style as an “odd mix of anime, cartoon, and semi-realism.” I hope you all are as captivated with Gabby’s work as I am!
