Billie Eilish’s tour in 2024 through 2025 was a hit with her new album, Hit Me Hard & Soft. It grossed over 1,400,100 million people who attended. The best part of this is that she stayed on the Billboard charts for months! Well. It’s been two years since the concert started, and Billie, of course, has a surprise for us fans! She announced that she is making a movie of her tour, which is set to release on May 8th, 2026.
The movie will cover Billie’s experiences throughout the tour and how she saw everything. This movie is being directed and edited by the famous James Cameron, who has directed every single Avatar movie, Terminator movies, and more. It is one of the first tour movies to be shown in theaters, which is a major deal for Billie Eilish.
The movie will consist of new technology never before used for filming! This includes VR technology as well as advanced 3D cameras. The production is with the help of Dark Records, Interscope Films, and Lightstorm. The project is quite under wraps and not much is known about its content. The only thing we know is what is shown in both trailers. We know she will focus mostly on her opening show in Manchester, which concludes the start of the tour. In one of the trailers, she shares about how she has scars from her fans, the puppy rooms, and all the backstage chaos. The movie will show all aspects of how the tour was run!
Promos for movie buckets and the cups have been rolling out! Some Billie fans have even gotten the jersey that she wore to Manchester! Every Billie Eilish fan or stan is very excited for this release. I am curious to see if it is better than seeing the tour live. I saw the concert at her Pittsburgh show, and it was my first time going to a concert! Billie Eilish’s performance was out of this world! The lights and the stage, everything, it was incredible! I hope the movie will hold up to all its hype.
The tickets will go on sale on April 16, 2026, and will probably be sold out for the May 8th showing. Everyone and their mother will be fighting over these tickets. The movie will be shown at all major theaters, but most prominently Regal Cinema. They have advertised the merch they will be selling, which will include a cup and a popcorn bucket. Many fans also plan on dressing in Billie merch and cosplaying Billie to go see this movie.
