The Grammy Award show has and will always have some of the best dresses and suits for its opening red carpet event. Obviously, not every artist there will be in the best attire for the theme or even just for the event. I’ve picked out some of the best judges (Lyela Miller, Vanessa Aguirre, and Pheonix Davis) for their knowledge of fashion, the arts, and because they are all just incredibly funny to help me pick out the best outfits from the red carpet.
We wanted to combine all of your judgment and pick based on how well each outfit fit the event, how appropriate they were for such a prestigious event, and if they were generally a good outfit. We found each celebrity image from Vogue. While doing this, we tried to keep in mind that the theme for the red carpet was “Naked Dressing,” so not every outfit would be 100% appropriate.
We looked through all of the pictures from Vogue to decide who would be in our top five, with two honorable mentions. Our ending top five list for the Grammys 2026 red carpet was…
- Paris Hilton
- Lyela Miller- “She was wearing a nice neckline in a very attractive color on her.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “I really like the pattern, with the structure and the silt in the front, it looks really nice.”
- Pheonix Davis- “She ate the house down; Houston, I’m deceased.”
- Me- I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous, it’s very Paris Hilton.
- Pink Patheress
- Lyela Miller- “She looks like she is wearing something for the Union Jack.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “The dress, when her arms are in the sleeves, has a nice silhouette.”
- Pheonix Davis- “Her look reminds me of Pamela Anderson. In other words, she ate.”
- Me- In the best way possible, it reminds me of Lola from Shark Tale.
- Maria Zardoya
- Lyela Miller- “She’s giving Lydia from Beetlejuice.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “I like the lacy beaded fabric and the gloves go well with the outfit.”
- Pheonix Davis- “The dress is unique, and it makes her look like herself.”
- Me- I adore the lace on her dress, I love the way it goes to the floor. She looks amazing.
- Tyla
- Lyela Miller- “The color compliments her well, the dress just isn’t very flattering.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “I only like the dress from the waist up. I don’t like the placement of the feathers, and the tone of the necklace is different from everything else.”
- Pheonix Davis- “Giving sandstorm, and she looks like Rihanna in 2020.”
- Me- I think it at least fits the theme well. I don’t like the feathers on the bottom though; it would’ve been better without it.
- Katseye (as a group)
- Lyela Miller- “None of them would stand out individually, but they stand out when they’re together.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “None stand out on their own, but they all go well together.”
- Pheonix Davis- “They wouldn’t stand out by themselves.”
- Me- I love them together as a group; if I saw one of them alone, I would be bored.
- Halle Bailey
- Lyela Miller- “The neckline sits very nicely.”
- Vanesa Aguirre- “I like the fabric, and the color of it looks good on her.”
- Pheonix Davis- “It fits well on her, just doesn’t look flexible.”
- Me- I love the fabric of the dress and how it fits her, but it didn’t follow the theme.
- Honorable mentions- Sombr
- Lyela Miller- “I like the pointy shoes, but it doesn’t match the theme.”
- Vanesa Aguirre-“I like the interesting suit and the lace shirt under. I don’t like point shoes.”
- Pheonix Davis- “The whole outfit is bad.”
- Me- I really dislike the outfit, it is so bad.
I think every year, there are a ton of people who love spending time judging the red carpet, seeing if their favorite celebrity won a certain award, or seeing if they even got nominated for anything. Especially this year, the Grammys has been an amazing outlet for the winning celebrities to speak out against what has been going on in our world around us. Even if this means on the mic, wearing an “ICE OUT” or a “BE GOOD” pin on their outfits.
